Wildlife & Nature

A working wildlife corridor.

Moose move through the willows along the Lake Fork of the Gunnison. Elk summer in the high basins around Burrows Park. Bighorn sheep work the cliffs outside Lake City, and pika call from the talus above timberline. Sightings from the cabins and on short walks from the property are common, especially at dawn and dusk.
